Our wellbeing and activity coordinator works hard to provide a wide selection of films suited to all of our residents’ tastes. From black and white classics to the newest releases, there is plenty to explore on our big screen.
At Raemoir Manor, we’re firm believers in life’s little luxuries, and our purpose-built cinema room is a real favourite among residents. It’s the perfect spot to settle in with an old classic or discover something new, all from the comfort of a proper big screen.
With immersive surround sound, a bright, high-quality picture and comfortable seating, the cinema room offers a genuinely cinematic experience without ever having to leave home. And of course, no trip to the pictures would be complete without popcorn, freshly served to make movie time feel like a real occasion.
No two residents share exactly the same taste in films, and our cinema programme is built around that. Musicals, westerns, romantic classics, gripping dramas, there’s a genuine variety on offer, reflecting the different backgrounds, memories and preferences of everyone who calls Raemoir Manor home.

All our residents are encouraged to take full advantage of our cinema, which is included in their monthly fees. Moreover, we extend a warm invitation to relatives and loved ones, and we are always happy to organise exclusive screenings for residents to enjoy with their close friends and family.
Our cinema offers a diverse array of films, spanning various genres and titles. However, we encourage our residents to make requests so they can enjoy their favourites in the comfort of their own home.

Raemoir Manor provides Nursing Care, Residential Care, Dementia Care and Respite Care, allowing us to support a wide range of needs under one roof. By offering different care types in a single setting, we can adapt support if circumstances change, helping residents remain in a familiar environment with staff they already know.
Care is planned with input from residents, families and healthcare professionals, with regular reviews to ensure support remains appropriate and respectful. Our team focuses not only on clinical needs but also on emotional wellbeing, independence where possible and maintaining the routines, hobbies and relationships that give each day its sense of purpose.
